What to expect

Send an enquiry through the booking page with as much detail as you can: what you have in mind, placement, approximate size, and any references. I read every enquiry personally and reply within 2 to 3 days.

Once we have agreed on a direction, a deposit link is sent to secure your slot. Sketching begins about two weeks before your session date. You will see the sketch before we meet and can request up to three rounds of adjustments so the design feels right.

On the day, small refinements are part of the process. The session is one-on-one in a private space; the address is shared on appointment confirmation. Most fineline and small ornamental pieces take between one and three hours.

Sydney studio.

  • A small fineline forearm tattoo: a celestial moon paired with a slender stem in soft greys, with delicate dotwork around it.

  • An ornamental fineline piece following the line of the spine, balanced left to right, ending in a small motif at the lower back.

  • Soft botanical leaves and stems drawn around keloid scarring across the upper back and shoulder, designed to live alongside the scar rather than cover it.

About my training

I studied design at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, where my practice was shaped by attention to proportion, line, and the quiet weight of Korean visual tradition. That grounding informs every piece I draw: ornamental compositions built on natural balance, fineline work that reads as drawing rather than decoration. I work in English and 한국어.

Questions about Bali sessions

  • How far in advance should I enquire?

    Sketches begin about two weeks before each session, so I am taking enquiries now for sessions starting in early June. The sooner you send an enquiry, the more time we have to work through the design together.

  • What should I expect on the day in Canggu?

    The session is one-on-one in a private space. The exact address is shared with each client on appointment confirmation. Please arrive rested, with a full meal, and wear clothing that gives easy access to the placement area.

  • What about timezones and travel?

    I reply to enquiries digitally, so timezone differences rarely cause delays. If you are travelling to Bali specifically for a session, let me know your dates in your enquiry and I will confirm whether they align with my availability before we begin the sketch process.

  • Will you return to Sydney?

    Sydney remains my primary studio and I return periodically for guest dates. For Sydney enquiries, you are welcome to send a booking through the same form; just note in your message that Sydney is your preference.
